Founded back in 1991, the Libertador Tambopata Lodge is one of the most established eco-tourism lodges on the banks of the Tambopata River. There are now a total of nine rainforest lodges in the Puerto Maldonado area, reinforcing the status of the region as one of the major rainforest eco-tourism destinations in South America.

In the event you need to change your travel plans after booking your accommodation in Peru, certain restrictions may apply. Revision, cancellation, and refund policies vary in accordance with the hotel or hostel supplier’s policies (Please ask for further details). The majority of hotels and hostels in Peru do not accept cancellations 30 days prior to check-in date. If a hotel or hostel does not accept cancellations, a refund of the amount paid won’t be issued.

We will try our best to book the hotels that we advertise on our website; however, during the peak seasons we may be forced to offer substitutes. In this event, we will provide a few choices and the client will have the opportunity to choose any of those or cancel his/her booking within one week of our notice.
